Experience
A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kristi has been a professional writer and editor since 1998 when she started writing music, film, and event reviews for a local rag called Infinity Press. When she's not testing out travel hacks for Islands or deep-diving into Disney Parks lore for Explore, you can find her sharing her festival and comic-con adventures on her family blog. A proponent for neurodiversity-inclusive travel, Kristi has been sharing her neurospicy family's adventures for years on her TulsaKids Magazine blog Coffee Nebula, which earned the 2021 and 2022 Parenting Media Association Gold Blogger Award.
Education
She earned her associate's degree in humanities at Tulsa Community College, where she first fell in love with applying literary analysis to film in a Film Theory class. While earning her bachelor's of English and poli-sci and most of an M.A. at Northeastern State University in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, she perfected her ability to overanalyze everything, much to her family's chagrin.
